Delivery Across the UAE and Beyond
Everything is made to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for you. Here is exactly what happens between the moment you order and the moment a framed piece is standing in your hallway.
Made to order
Your piece is produced after you buy it. The substrate is prepared, the surface is finished in real 24K gold, the work is mounted on velvet and sealed in the frame you selected.
How long does production take?
Production takes 14 to 20 days. Delivery time is added on top of that. Plan against the two together, not against the production figure alone - this is the mistake that turns a National Day gift into a January arrival.
Within the UAE
- Delivery is free, across all seven emirates.
- Fully insured in transit. If it is damaged on the way to you, that is our problem, not yours.
- Signature required. Nothing is left at a door, with a concierge, or with a neighbour. Someone signs for it.
Outside the UAE
We accept international enquiries. Rates, transit times, customs duties, and import taxes vary considerably by destination and are the responsibility of the recipient unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Contact info@golden-emarat.com before ordering from outside the UAE, so we can quote accurately rather than surprise you at the border.
Ordering for a fixed date
Work backwards. Production is 14 to 20 days, delivery follows, and November is the busiest month in this business.
For a National Day gift, that means ordering in October - not late November. For Eid, whose date is not confirmed until the moon is sighted, plan against the earliest possible date in the window rather than the likely one.
Give yourself a week of margin. A gift that arrives after the occasion is a gift that arrives after the occasion.
When it arrives
Inspect the outer packaging before you sign, if you can. If the box shows crush damage or a corner impact, note it on the courier's docket. It costs you ten seconds and it makes any subsequent claim straightforward.
If you open it and find damage, stop. Photograph the piece as it sits, in the packaging, before you unwrap it further. Then contact us. Do not remove it from the frame, do not attempt to clean anything, and do not throw away the packaging - we will need it.
Nearly everything is recoverable at that point. Considerably less is recoverable after a well-meaning attempt at a fix.
Before you hang it
Take out the certificate of authenticity and put it somewhere that is not the back of the frame. Certificates taped to frames are thrown away with the packaging by someone who does not know what they are. It is the document an insurer or a future buyer will ask for.
Then read the two guides that will save you from the two most common regrets: where to hang it, and how to care for it. The short version of both: hang it lower than you think, light it from the side, and never touch the surface with anything but a dry microfibre cloth.
Corporate and bulk
Bulk orders and bespoke commissions run on longer timelines than the catalogue. If a delivery date is fixed - a delegation, an anniversary, National Day - begin the conversation months rather than weeks ahead.
